Worldview
Why highlight this word? What’s so special about the idea expressed by the term: worldview? Regardless of our ability to provide the specifics to its denotation, we should be able to speak easily to its connotation, shouldn’t we?
So then, why highlight this word?
Do you realize you have a worldview? Do you ever think about it?…how it influences your actions, or informs your morals? Could you explain it, if asked? Does the weight of its reality ever press against your heart?
To truly fire up this train of thought, the basic definition:

- The overall perspective from which one sees and interprets the world.
- A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group. In both sense also called Weltanschauung.
While the above definitions provide a mighty fine mix of words that capture the idea quite nicely, more can and should be said.
