The Christian Stench:  Intolerant, Judgmental Hypocrite

There is a foul smell to hypocrisy.  It curdles the mind and sickens the senses.  It spoils thoughtful discussion on matters of right and wrong, and marginalizes the opinions shared by those caught in its nauseating funk.  To discuss moral obligations with a hypocrite is to bath in a septic tank.  It serves no purpose and leads only to violent, involuntary vomiting.  Or is that just me?

Now add the malodorous adjectives “intolerant” and “judgmental” to the stinky noun “hypocrite” and it’s like tossing rotten eggs and a decomposing corpse into a bathtub of liquefied excrement to create the devil’s potpourri or what modern society calls:  the Evangelical Christian.

But worse than repugnant disapproval for those emanating the “stench”, the offended scream for excommunication, imprisonment, and eradication from the public square of those Bible-believing Christians who fail to adapt to an ever changing society and who refuse to celebrate the lifestyles that are contrary to their biblical beliefs.

Is the outright condemnation of the Bible-believing Christian morally correct?  Or has society gone remarkably mad?  If we take the time to parse these inflammatory words and explore the ideas behind them, what will we find?  Will the Bible-believing Christian be convicted of intolerance…judging…or hypocrisy?  If so, does that then mean he is guilty of something far worse…unpardonable hate?

The authors of the articles and videos linked below offer insight to the powerful claims of hypocrisy, intolerance, and judging charged to Christians.
