Jesus answered, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”  ~  John 14:6

The world would have us believe Jesus was merely a man.  But seriously, what kind of a person says something like that?  Or better yet…“I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.”  Are we to honestly believe those are words from a “wise moral teacher” or a “political rabble-rouser”.  If Jesus was merely a man, wouldn’t it be more apt to respond like C.S. Lewis, and call him a full-fledged lunatic?

Of course, that assumes the “poached egg” is a man of history, and not one of myth or legend.  But why make that assumption?  Why believe he is anything more than a derivative of ancient myths, a derivative polished and shined to a golden glow then sold to the ignorant and desperate by silver-tongued charlatans?

Is there any credible reason to believe Jesus walked this earth?  If he did, then why conclude he is anything other than half-baked crazy?

But now a twist.

If Jesus Christ can be shown to have existed in history….if further examination shows that he was not a lunatic…how then are we to view him?

So then…

Is Jesus Christ the only way to God…the only way to Heaven?

If God exists…

If the Bible is reliable…

If Jesus is the son of God and says…

I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

If all this is true…how would you respond?
