While not a term critical to understanding basic Christian Apologetics, without the truth conveyed by the word, Christian Apologetics would be absolutely worthless. That is, Christian Apologetics fulfills its purpose only when shining a light on the truth of the Gospel. Not surprisingly, joy and satisfaction felt from studying Christian Apologetics arise from the affirmation the Gospel best represents the reality in which we all live. There is a God that made us, yet there is something terribly wicked about us. We are separated from God, yet somehow there is still hope in this dark world. We all instinctively know this. We all undeniably feel it. Though sadly, the more our hearts callous to this truth, the less we sense it.
The truth be told, if the Gospel was false, if we weren’t all sinners, if Jesus hadn’t died for our sins, and if placing our faith in Jesus Christ didn’t offer us the promise of enjoying God’s love forever, then the Stuart of this site would be neck deep in unholy shenanigans and not wasting the remaining hours of his day on such a silly enterprise as this website. As such, the Stuart would be remiss if he didn’t dedicate a page to the essential, meaningful truth of the Gospel.
