The Problem of Evil

(Evil’s Nature & Origin / Grounding a Moral Standard)

Perhaps the most often used and reliable attack against the existence of God is the undeniable presence of evil infecting the world’s inhabitants with inconsolable grief and suffering.  It feels as if the infectious realities of evil endlessly parade through the world gleefully testifying to God’s injustice.…or is it His indifference?…or just maybe, His non-existence.

But what is the nature of evil?  Exactly what is it?   And from where does it come?  Does it come from God?

How do we objectively differentiate evil from good?  How do we really know when something is evil and is not just a matter of opinion?

The articles listed below offer responses to the problem of evil.
